Hello and welcome to the first ever daily video game news! (Or at least it should be daily) I am your host, me! Anyways, lets get righttt into the news!
You may have seen that Epic Games, the creators of Fortnite, have sued Apple for removing their game of the app store, but do you know the whole story? The reason Fortnite was removed, was because Epic Games circumvented a policy, in which in-app purchases have to give 30% of their profit to Apple. Apple then removed the game off the app store for breaking these terms, AND threatened to remove the engine that Fortnite runs off of, Unreal Engine, which is also made by Epic Games. Epic Games has LOST it's case against Apple with Fortnite, but had won the case for Unreal Engine. So while Fortnite may be gone, other games that use Unreal Engine are still up! Epic Games have also sued Google for removing it off their play store, but there has been no further information. If you have a Samsung phone, or most phones with an alternative app store, you can still play Fortnite mobile.
In an official tweet by Pokemon Go, they will be ending support for Android 5, iOS 10, and iOS 11, as well as iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 devices. If you have any of those devices, you will no longer be able to play Pokemon Go.
That is all for the news, I hope to see you tomorrow, bye bye now!
