Coordinator lunaology 3402 Posted October 20, 2020 Coordinator Share Posted October 20, 2020 Fun fact! The movie was actually based on the shopping and retail season because the writers noticed there was a lot of overlap between the shopping for christmas and halloween! So it is kinda both!
Nightkin618 17
I remember hearing that the Director, Henry Sellick, said that it was a Halloween movie! It did originally come out during the Halloween season, so I personally take it as a Halloween movie! It does have the animation style of those old clay/stop motion movies like Rudolph, though!
